They moved quickly and had everything out of my apartment within half an hour. The company recognized that the movers were late & offered us a 10% discount off of the move to make up for the tardiness. I had a 2-4 arrival time. Although they didn't show until 4:45 they were courteous enough to call me around 2:45 and let me know they would be late which allowed me to get more things done. I moved from a 3rd floor (elevator building) apartment to a 4th floor walk-up apartment. I had moved a lot of my things early in the day and had 3-4 boxes, a bed, and a dresser. The move had a small hiccup considering I was moving to Center City. The truck was really big for such a small number of items (I was told it was due to such a large move earlier in the day) and the truck wasn't able to be parked long on the street as buses couldn't get by. After about 45 minutes a manager showed up to assist and all of my belongings were inside and up to my 4th floor apartment in about an hour. They were nice enough to not charge me for the time that no work could get done and they busted their butts to get everything up the 50 steps! quot

Movers arrived early, wasted no time assessing the move (which is very important when you are paying by the hour) and moved me out of my apartment into a home in less than the time anticipated. Hello I live in the Uptown area of Charlotte and I used Milestone Movers on September 8, 2011 to move to a new condo in the area. The movers, Jonathon and Ivan, were very determined to move things in a safe and quick manner. They really took great care with everything and paid close attention to my larger items wrapping my king-sized bed, large TV, dresser, couch, etc. in a way that protected them from any scratches or scuffs. I was amazed when they got to my new place and they opened the truck and everything was neatly organized and wrapped in blankets. I could tell they went the extra mile. I have been meaning to write to you ever since I moved a month ago, though things have been kind of crazy. What I wanted to tell you is what a fantastic job Rudy Gonzalez and his team did for me. What they did for me was really heroic, and almost impossible. I think they must've worked in 36 hours on my move, and only a third of that in transit. I don't know when they got any sleep.

As you know, my move was very complicated, with four stops involved. Somehow they manage to get everything to the right place, and nothing was broken (except in a couple of cases by me, after they left!). Their attention to detail, and care in preparing items for the move, was like nothing I have ever seen in movers before. At times they seem to know more about what I wanted than I did--even though they were doing all the work, I was exhausted!

I am grateful to you for sending me such incredible people to work with, and I can't recommend them enough to others. Please give them my best. quot
